Studio 1.3 is born with the challenge of creating a path to fine arts in Poços in southern Minas Gerais. The gap created by the lack of support for the fine arts and specific spaces for the sector indicates the direction for the development of the project that has been going on since 1996. For the artist, a shelter, an exhibition space, a place to seek answers or Create questions.
The proposal is for a gallery that connects to the contemporary universe of the present and at the same time opens the possibility of the real artist at any moment of his career to expose his work. Create an exchange between artists and thereby enriching the individual and group repertoire. To stimulate doing, movement, in order to give art to those who need art with the ultimate goal of creating a local identity.
The biggest challenge of Studio 1.3 will be to involve the citizen and the community in a new universe of visual possibilities, demystify the culture of fine arts, develop the look at art. Create public, stimulate creation foster visitation and thus finally start the public _ work _ artist.
