There are plenty of art galleries exhibiting established artists in Zurich. But how do young artists come to public attention? This question was central in the room at the founding of the Sihlhalle.

For a long time, David Schildknecht was buzzing the idea of ​​running an off-site in Zurich. Network young artists, work together on projects and exhibit young art. Schildknecht sees himself as a doer and not as a gallery owner. In this way, he wants to offer young artists a platform to present their works to the public.
