Salon 75 is located on the outskirts of Frederiksberg. Compressed between nail salons, hairdressers and various grocery stores, the exhibition space relates to its surroundings both culturally and critically. The 4×4 km2 small room used to be a storage room for a renovation company, but is now transformed a classic white-box, but a white-box there with a showcase, refers to its surroundings.
Salon 75 is occupied by the owner and founder Theodor P. Nymark, whose task is to reform this room for a separate exhibition space for contemporary art and cultural activities. The primary focus is to promote new uncompromising experimental art of all media, and with the aim of competing with the few established state-supported conform museums in Frederiksberg.
