Painpub is a young non-profit publisher, who has its focus on contemporary painting. Painpub highlights the work of remarkable painters in a series of monographs. The publications are printed in black and white as this creates just the right distance to the works of art.

Painpub offers a physical counterbalance to the abundance of digital and online presentations that we have seen emerge recently as alternatives to physical engagement with the public. With tangible publications, Painpub offers room for concentration ‘longer than a click’. Paper is patient.
