Oude Kerk

Housed in the oldest building of Amsterdam, the Oude Kerk commissions contemporary artists to create site-specific installations. With its interhistorical, context-responsive program, de Oude Kerk focuses on heritage and contemporary art, the monumental building and its rich often serving as a source of inspiration. It also has a contemporary music program and is a space for contemplation. On Sunday mornings it functions as the church for the Protestant congregation.
