Niyo is a social impact driven initiative that a former street child conceived as a gallery and a cultural space for children and women’s empowerment. In addition to the art, Niyo offers traditional drumming and dance lessons to low-income children. The hope is that these skills will help them earn an income from these activities. Visitors can also find the hand crafts and jewelry of a collective of women at Niyo.
