Hickster Projects is an artist led project space set in a remote part of central Italy, the Crete Senesi. We started curating and organising shows in 2015, and now host an annual event in August, aiming to show innovative new work in a totally different context to the accepted model of a city based gallery or artist led initiative. We have a strong online presence, via Artsy and Instagram. Since 2018 we have been hosting a residency for a visual artist twice a year, details and how to apply to this can be seen on our ‘Residency’ page. Projects are by invitation only, therefore we do not receive unsolicited proposals.
