Choque Cultural gallery was founded in 2004, quickly becoming an international reference in street and urban art, as well as in other new, contemporary forms. The gallery has won recognition both locally and globally for its mix of young talent alongside more recognized artists. In its exhibition calendar, Choque Cultural presents solo and group shows that explore a wide diversity of media, showing the work within the gallery walls, in the urban environment, and on digital platforms. As well as its regular exhibitions and events,Choque promotes residencies, exchanges and artistic collaborations, and runs educative, transdisciplinary programs and courses. Choque promotes art projects in urban and non-conventional spaces, as well as projects in partnership with traditional museums and art institutions.
