Berlin Weekly

Linienstr. 160 10115 Berlin Germany

BERLIN-WEEKLY is a non-profit project space that offers artists a platform in public space. It is primarily a large display window in an exposed, well-frequented location in Berlin-Mitte. The high showroom is illuminated until late at night. It can be regarded as a public stage on which artists can show a room-related installation to a broad public. As a result of its direct orientation towards public space, BERLIN-WEEKLY primarily functions as an artistic intervention in urban space via the format ’display window’.
The project space is curated and directed by Stefanie Seidl, but conceptualized in close collaboration with the respective exhibiting artists. The window installation works somehow as a teaser for the webpage where the interested viewer can find more information about the installation and a direct link to the website of the artist.
BERLIN-WEEKLY offers an interdisplinary playground and stage for artists and innovative designers.
The artists can use the rear part of the project space for their personal presentation of further works, for special events and for the preparation of their installations.
