206 Arte Contemporáneo is a dynamic space for contemporary art and dialogue. A site open to new proposals and artistic encounters; Currently under the direction of Melissa Arreola (architect / multidisciplinary artist) and Mónica Arreola, (architect / visual artist), work in collaboration with Luis Dueñas, (museographer).
The project started in July 2012, and its activities revolve around bimonthly collective and individual exhibitions, as well as workshops, talks with artists, or book presentations by independent publishers.
206 Arte Contemporáneo seeks proposals that contain a specified conceptualization next to dynamic and fresh aesthetic language that shows artistic quality. With each exhibition, 206 Arte Contemporáneo wants to showcase projects emerging artists of Baja California.
